“The Siri Guru Granth Sahib is not paper; it's not a book. It's not all those ramalas.
It is bound in the spirit, the language and bani of those who conquered their mind first and enriched themselves enough to
become Siri Guru Granth.” Yogi Bhajan October 8, 1998 Every
language contains sounds which relate to one or more of the five elements of Akash, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Siri Guru
Granth Sahib is the perfect combination and permutation relating to all the five elements in complete balance known as “Naad”.
It is designed as a Granth, a knot that binds the word onto a form. According to the science of Shabad Yoga,
these words when recited correctly have the capacity to transform the consciousness. Guru Arjun Dev compiled the SGGS, in the year 1604, and Guruship was bestowed upon
it in the year 1705 by Guru Gobind Singh. It contains
the experiences of 36 enlighten beings, all belonging to different traditions, expressed in 22 languages and
is written in Gurmukhi script on 1430 pages. It is known as
the living guru, as the meaning of the words contain in it changes with the evolution of your consciousness on the path of
self realization. Join us in two beautiful classes where we would explore the Philosophy, History, Content and Yoga of Sri
